Pastor Mike Todd defines crazy faith as “having thoughts and actions that lack reason but trusting fully in what you cannot explicitly prove.
“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.”
James 1:6 KJV
Pastor Mike Todd is known for connecting with various generations and meeting them at their level. He does as such through his unique writing style by creating a space for the reader to be true to themselves by exposing himself, family and ministry in ways that you can connect to. “Crazy Faith,” was not written to convert you into a new religion or practice but solely to push you into new measures of faith.
As a believer, I recommend this book to the hopeless, the faithless, the person dealing with loss, the desperate, the lonely heart, the broken hearted and the one who is trying to challenge their faith. In each chapter Pastor Todd shows the reader different levels of faith that can help push our dreams, imaginations and promises into the season God has for us to prosper.
We are in a see-it-to-believe-it generation in which we tend to notice everything that erodes our faith rather than possessing the faith that steps out, take action, is patient, and affirms that which believe.
“God promises are always greater than the pain.”
God’s promises and our faith works hand and hand. Don’t go before God’s promise, don’t be hasty, don’t move before God said to move. “Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.”
Psalm 27:14
I believe faith is universal, but what and who you have faith in is what really counts.
